Topping the medal table with 18 gold, 20 silver and 23 bronze medals, the Chinese team gave its best-ever Winter Paralympics performance at Beijing 2022, which concluded on Sunday.
Athletes from Harbin Sport University in Harbin in China's northernmost Heilongjiang province accounted for 12 golds, six silvers and 10 bronzes.
The Harbin athletes stood out in several events, including wheelchair curling, cross-country skiing and snowboarding.
At this year's Winter Paralympics, the Chinese wheelchair curling team led by captain Wang Haitao beat the Swedish team with a score of 8-3 on March 12, becoming the defending champion at the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games.
