The first session of the 14th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Harbin municipal committee was held at the Harbin International Conference Center on April 12.
 
The meeting was addressed by Sun Kun, executive chairman of the presidium of the first session of the 14th CPPCC Harbin municipal committee.
 
It was attended by Harbin CPPCC members and invited representatives from the Harbin municipal government and Heilongjiang Provincial Government.
   
Qin Enting, the chairman of the 13th CPPCC Harbin municipal committee, delivered a work report on the previous committee.
 
Other reports on the committee’s proposal work and speeches on strengthening industrial clusters to promote the high-quality development of advanced manufacturing in Harbin, accelerating the construction of five agricultural industry clusters and supporting the healthy development of Harbin’s micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and individual businesses were delivered at the meeting.
 
Moving forward, the 14th CPPCC Harbin municipal committee will give full play to the role of specialized consultative institutions, carry out political consultation, democratic supervision, and participation in and deliberation of state affairs, and contribute its wisdom and strength to new breakthroughs in the comprehensive revitalization of Harbin.
