Harbin customs in the capital city of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province recently launched 17 measures to further improve the city's business environment and boost foreign trade development.
 
The measures involve opening fast customs clearance channels, advancing trial reforms, improving service quality and supporting the development of key enterprises.
 
According to the plan, Harbin customs will set up a fast channel for epidemic prevention supplies at each customs clearance site to provide convenient services for enterprise filing and customs clearance of goods, establish a channel for exported fruit and vegetable inspection, and promote the import and export of agricultural and food products.
 
It will also support the import of energy and resource commodities, optimize the inspection of imported bulk commodities, and ensure the safe and rapid customs clearance of hazardous chemicals.
 
Meanwhile, Harbin customs will increase "Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership" (RCEP) policy publicity and training and help enterprises to maximize the use of origin accumulation rules and tariff reduction policies and expand imports and exports.
 
Other plans include supporting the construction of cross-border e-commerce bonded trial zones, and introducing the advanced reform experience from national free trade zones.
