New wind power project to be built in Harbin

This is according to a deal signed recently signed between the Yanshou county government and Shanghai Zhiheng New Energy Co.
The Shanghai-based company is a well-known domestic new energy enterprise focusing on wind energy and solar power generation.
It boasts a wealth of experience in the development, construction, operation, maintenance, investment and financing of wind energy projects.
According to the deal, the company will invest 1.2 billion yuan ($180.05 million) to build wind power facilities with a total installed capacity of 200 MW.
The project is estimated to pay 300 million yuan in taxes annually after it begins operating.
Xu Difei, head of Yanshou county, said that the signing of the new wind power project will play an essential role in boosting the development of the local new energy industry.
