The much-anticipated 2023 China Harbin Roller Skating Marathon World Cup has made a triumphant return to the forefront of the international roller-skating arena after a prolonged hiatus of four years. The spectacular event was inaugurated with great fanfare and enthusiasm in Harbin, the capital city of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province, on July 29.
 
As the fourth edition of this iconic roller skating event held in Harbin, the Chinese Roller Skate Association guided this year's event.
 
With 68 top professional athletes from 13 countries and regions worldwide participating, it promises to be the most star-studded and competitive roller skating event for skating enthusiasts in the city.
   
The 2023 Roller Skating Marathon World Cup consists of six races: Rennes in France, Funchal in Portugal, Lago Di Garda in Italy, Harbin in China, Berlin in Germany, and Sarasota in the USA.
 
Among them, Berlin will serve as the grand finale, while Sarasota will be an additional exhibition race that won't affect the participants' overall results for the year.
 
Harbin, as the final race before the grand finale and the only race set in Asia, will directly determine which athletes will qualify for the final.
