The 36th China Harbin Summer Music Festival officially kicked off in Harbin, the capital of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province, on Aug 6.

This year's festival comprises seven major sections: an opening ceremony, national exhibition activities, performances of Chinese and foreign classics, displays of national professional music academy teaching achievements, mass cultural activities, characteristic intangible cultural heritage displays, and fashion culture exhibitions.
