On Dec 4, the construction site of the 37th Harbin Sun Island International Snow Sculpture Art Expo was bustling with activity.

Carving began on snow sculptures such as "Wukong Returns," "Mr. Snowman," and "Legendary Flame," while the main sculpture, "Snowy Spring," started snow piling.

The 100-meter-long "Snowy Spring" is the centerpiece of this year's expo. The magical blend of spring blossoms and ice inspires its design.

Skilled sculptors will use their exquisite craftsmanship to bring the vibrant colors of spring to life using snow, offering visitors a unique encounter with "springtime" in the icy landscape.

Carving also began on the highly anticipated "Mr. Snowman" – a giant snowman that stands 20 meters tall and uses 4,000 cubic meters of snow. About 30 craftsmen work daily on its creation.

Soon, this "internet-famous" giant snowman will greet visitors from all over the world at the park's entrance.

The park's popular snow sculpture, "Wukong Returns," also began carving. This 20-meter-tall sculpture uses about 2,400 cubic meters of snow, and over 10 craftsmen work daily on it. It is expected to be completed in eight days.

Inspired by the classic character, the sculpture skillfully uses snow texture to highlight Wukong's determination and strength. Fine carving techniques will intricately detail his armor and flowing hair.

The snow sculpture "Legendary Flame," themed around the Asian Winter Games, stands 15 meters tall and uses 1,600 cu m of snow. Nearly 10 craftsmen work daily on this piece, which is expected to be completed in five days.

Under the hands of sculptors, snow comes to life, showcasing the passionate fusion of ice art and sports spirit.
