The panda house in Yabuli Forest Zoo will open to the public on May 28th, just as two pandas from Sichuan province are set to move in.
The panda house is about 2,700 square meters, with an outside house and inside room. Its highlight is the sunshine exhibition hall which is two floors and 600 square meters. The hall is surrounded by a glass curtain wall, so visitors can watch pandas from all angles. The slides, padding, pools and trees are ready and the pandas will have their own rooms to avoid fighting.

Staff will go to Sichuan to pick up the two new guests. One panda is a boy and the other is a girl; they have about 1.5 million and 1.6 million Sichuan fans respectively. Five students will be selected from Northeast Forestry University to take care of them 24 hours a day. The bamboo they eat will be transported from Sichuan twice a week.
