The 24th Harbin Ice and Snow World officially closed its door on the evening of Feb 25.
Harbin Ice and Snow World is a highlight of the annual ice and snow festival in Harbin, capital of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province.

The ever-popular extravaganza featured exquisite ice and snow sculptures, ice-skating performances, as well as an array of ice-and-snow-related activities.
The 24th Harbin Ice and Snow World covered a total area of 810,000 square meters and started trial operations on Dec 17, 2022.
Over the 71-day period, more than 800,000 tourist visits were made to this ice and snow wonderland.

Other activities that were successfully held during this period include the opening ceremony of the 39th Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival, Spring Festival folk performances, ice and snow themed group weddings, and the National Ice and Snow Car Challenge.
Compared with previous events, the 24th Harbin Ice and Snow World highlighted a newly-built ferris wheel featuring snow flower elements, a 500-meter-long ice slide, and culture creative products such as ice cream, hats and dolls.
Also, the tourism services during this year's event were dramatically improved for the visitors' convenience.
