A flight connecting Harbin in Northeast China's Heilongjiang province to Zhuhai in South China's Guangdong province started operating on Aug 10, according to information from Heilongjiang Airport Group.

The new service is being offered by Shenzhen Airlines to meet the increasing demands of travel and trade between the two cities.
 
It is the first direct flight operating between Harbin and Zhuhai, shortening a single journey to just 4.5 hours and bringing a much more comfortable flight experience.
 
The Harbin-Zhuhai direct flight is served by the A320 aircraft and is scheduled to operate daily as flight ZH9639/40.

The new flight departs from Zhuhai Jinwan Airport at 8:05 and arrives in Harbin at 12:35. After a 75-minute layover at the Harbin Taiping International Airport, it takes off at 13:50 and arrives in Zhuhai at 18:40.
 
Shenzhen Airlines has opened flights connecting Harbin to 18 domestic cities, namely Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, Haikou, Nanchang, Linyi, Ningbo, Nanjing, Nanning, Nantong, Wenzhou, Changzhou, Yangzhou, Xiamen, Wuxi, Sanya, Yuncheng, and Zhuhai.
