Harbin-Zhaoyuan expressway approved

A new expressway linking Harbin to Zhaoyuan in China's northernmost Heilongjiang province recently received approval from the Heilongjiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission and entered the project bidding process.
 
The expressway has a planned length of 119.78 kilometers.
 
It starts from the Songbei district of Harbin, passing through Wuzhan town, Wuliming town, Dechang township, Caiyou Shichang, Fengle town, Zhaozhou town, and Zhaoyuan town before finally arriving at Zhaoyuan county in the city of Daqing.
 
A total of two service areas, one parking area, and six toll stations will be set up along the expressway, namely the Yinshan service area, Fengyuan service area, Baolin parking area, Zhongyuan Avenue toll station, Wuzhan toll station, Wuliming toll station, Chaoyanggou toll station, Fengle toll station, and Zhaozhou toll station.
