Harbin to Yabuli South train to start Nov 22

Yabuli South Railway Station, affectionately known as the "train station in the ski resort", is set to welcome its first train of the 2024-2025 winter season on Nov 22.
Tickets for the K5197 train from Harbin to Yabuli South Railway Station are available for presale on the 12306 website and app. The travel time has been reduced from over three hours to just 2 hours and 15 minutes, with a fare of only 49.5 yuan ($6.85).
Located at the southern end of Yabuli town, at the foot of Guokui Mountain, Yabuli South Railway Station is conveniently close to popular tourist destinations such as the Yabuli Ski Resort, Qingyun Town, and the Yabuli Panda House. The station is 500 meters from the ski slopes, earning it the nickname "train station in the ski resort."

The station features Gothic architecture characterized by pointed roofs, arched ceilings, and slender columns. It has been recognized as one of China's 10 most beautiful small railway stations.
This year, Yabuli South Railway Station completed electrification upgrades, cutting the travel time from Harbin by more than an hour. To ensure that tourists have ample time to enjoy the attractions, the railway department has optimized the train schedule and offers direct services.
