Route 7: Xianglu Mountai -- Shuangzi Mountain Primitive Forest Park

Located in the south of Binxian county and 80 km away from the downtown area of Harbin, Xianglu Mountain is one of the nearest natural forests to the city.

It covers an area of 1,667 ha and is 790 m above sea level.

Around 10 species of trees are planted in the mountain including red pines, oaks, linden trees and maples. Leaves start to turn red or yellow in late September.

Enthusiasts say the most recommended spot to appreciate the fall is the Red Leaves Valley, which features the most splendid and dense red-leaf landscape.

Shuangzi Mountain Primitive Forest Park is located in Fangzheng county in Harbin. It covers an area of more than 600 ha and with its forest coverage rate reaching 90 percent, it enjoys a reputation of being something of a natural oxygen bar. It got its name from Dabaishi Lazi Mountain and Xiaobaishi Lazi Mountain in the park.
