Snow sculpture expo to be held in Harbin

Harbin will hold its 29th snow sculpture exposition at Sun Island, according to a press conference held on Nov 24.
This exhibition, themed “Winter and Love”, will open to the public on Dec 22, 2016.
A total of 120,000 cubic meters of snow will be used for snow sculptures in five scenic areas, covering around 600,000 square meters.
There will be five exhibition areas at the expo, including a scenic area at the expo center, display areas for snow sculptures, competition areas for carving sculptures, display areas for snow landscape architecture, and a main display area for the biggest snow sculpture “Liange”.
The tickets will be priced at 240 yuan ($34.7) per person. For senior citizens and students with valid ID, the price will be only 120 yuan per person.
