'Illustrating Our Values’ campaign promotes socialist values in Harbin

The administrative committee of the Qiulin Business Circle in Daoli district,  Harbin, Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province, has endeavored to create considerable momentum in popularizing core socialist values through the “Illustrating Our Values” campaign.

So far, Qiulin has established one thematic street featuring “Illustrating Our Values,” Gogol Street. It has also established two thematic squares, Church Square and Children’s Palace Square, as well as three thematic landscapes – Nangang Commercial Pedestrian Street, Soviet Forces Pagoda Park and Russian River Park.

To date, a total of 261 posters for “Illustrating Our Values” have been designed, made and installed, involving 35 locations and nearly 800 square meters.

First, 66 posters were set up on alfresco dining enclosures at Golden Hand Music City, Lao Chang Spring Pancake, Korean Black Sauce Noodles, and Assad in Gogol Street.

Second, 40 posters were set up in four combinations of display racks in Church Square and Nangang Commercial Pedestrian Street.

Third, 60 spray painted cloth posters were set up on iron fences and building facades in Children’s Palace Square, Russian River Park and Soviet Forces Pagoda Park.

Fourth, 10 stainless steel display racks were set up in Church Square, Moscow Theater, and the intersection of Huayuan Street and Hongjun Street.

Fifth, 88 “Illustrating Our Values” public-service ads were set up on 22 light bridge pillars in Nangang Commercial Pedestrian Street.

Finally, in addition to the self-design and production of public-service ads, Qiulin has mobilized merchants and schools under its jurisdiction to make “Illustrating Our Values” public-service ads on squares and parking lots to improve the coverage rate and make such ads accessible anywhere.

 

Harbin ramps up childcare services

A new comprehensive service center for childcare in Harbin is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
