Harbin New Zone signs big deals at China Hi-Tech Fair

Harbin New Zone in Harbin, the capital city of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province, signed two deals worth 1.2 billion yuan ($171.18 million) on the first day of the 24th annual China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF). The fair kicked off in Shenzhen city in South China's Guangdong province on Nov 16.
According to the deals, the Shenzhen Qingpeng Intelligent Co and Guangdong Ronggu Innovation Industrial Park Co will build an intelligent manufacturing park and an industrial park for military and civil integration projects in Harbin New Zone, respectively.
Wang Di, deputy director of Harbin New Zone's industrial information and technology bureau, stated that Harbin New Zone has many advantages.
Abundant element resources, comprehensive infrastructure, as well as preferential policies for advanced manufacturing and high-tech enterprises were some of the advantages introduced by Di at the CHTF. People attending the exhibition at home and abroad showed strong interest because of these factors.
There were nine high-tech enterprises and listed companies in the jurisdiction of Harbin New Zone on display at the CHTF. They also received great attention from participating merchants due to their advanced products and technologies.
Harbin HIT VISINCE Intelligent Technology Co reached agreements with a number of enterprises. These agreements focus on smart cities, naked-eye 3D, artificial intelligence garbage classification and detection, and others.
"At present, we are in cooperation with Shenzhen University on smart campus and energy consumption management, with China Southern Airlines on smart traffic, and with Virginie International (Holdings) Co on smart factories and safe electricity big data platforms." Wu Tao, the sales director of the Harbin HIT VISINCE Intelligent Technology Co said.
"The estimated amount for these contracts is 5 million yuan." Wu added.
