The signing and groundbreaking ceremonies for the second batch of investment attraction projects for 2023 in Acheng district of Harbin city took place on Oct 18.
 
A total of 29 projects with an investment of 4.98 billion yuan ($682.19 million) were signed in unison, spanning emerging industries such as the digital economy, bio-economy, and high-end equipment.
 
Once they reach full production, these projects will have a total output value of 5.98 billion yuan annually.
 
One of the highlights is the 50MW/200MWh shared energy storage project by ChinaYong Group.
 
The project, with an operational period of 25 years and a total investment of 750 million yuan, is capable of absorbing 150 million degrees of green electricity annually upon reaching full production, with an output value close to 100 million yuan.
