The 20th China Harbin International Beer Festival opened at the Sun Island scenic area in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, on Aug 16.Over a period of one month, visitors will not only have the opportunity to enjoy various flavors of beer from renowned brands, but also have a chance to try food popular among internet celebrities.
The festival will also feature other activities, including singing, dancing, camping, fashion shows, rock performances, and family activities.

To provide convenience for tourists and residents, Harbin will extend the operating time of its metro, ferry and cross-river ropeway.
Harbin was the first Chinese city to focus on brewing beer and it boasts a beer culture dating back more than 100 years. It also ranks among the cities with the highest beer consumption per capita in the world. The beer festival was first held in Harbin in 2001.
