To celebrate the 31st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea, Asiana Airlines launched the first Heilongjiang to South Korea tour group on Sept 4.
On Sept 4, a tour group consisting of 16 members arrived at Harbin Taiping International Airport, located in China's northernmost province, Heilongjiang. Later that day, they boarded Asiana Airlines flight OZ340, departing at 14:40 Beijing time.
They arrived at Incheon International Airport in South Korea at 18:15 local time, starting their six-day, five-night in-depth cultural experience tour of Seoul.
On-site, Shilla Duty-Free Shop also distributed shopping vouchers to the tour group.
"We hope that through organizing this travel activity, everyone can have a deep experience of traditional Korean culture and natural scenery," said the person in charge of Asiana Airlines. The activity aimed to promote deep exchanges between Heilongjiang and South Korea, the person added.
Starting from Oct 29 until the end of March next year, Asiana Airlines will increase their Harbin to Incheon flights from four to five a week. The flights are expected to operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
