NE China continues airport expansion work

Construction work on a viaduct and a parking lot expansion at Taiping International Airport in the city of Harbin, resumed recently after being suspended during winter because of extremely low temperature.

Work on the 1,010-meter-long viaduct covering 260,000 square meters, and the 104,000-sq-m parking lot began last May and restarted after the weather started getting warmer recently. It is expected to go into service in 2017.
