Travel routes to best admire Harbin’s autumnal scenery

Route 4: Fenghuang Mountain National Forest Park -- Harbin North Forest Zoo
Fenghuang Mountain National Forest Park covers an area of 50,000 ha, with 89 hills measuring more than 1,000 m above sea level, including a main peak 1,690 m above sea level –– the highest peak in Heilongjiang province.
The park has two scenic areas: Fenghuang Mountain Alpine Garden and Phoenix Mountain Grand Gorge, which are famous for their special environment and natural landscapes.
Harbin North Forest Zoo is situated at Gezidong district, 46 km from the downtown area of Harbin. It covers an area measuring 558 ha – making it the largest forest zoo in China.
In the zoo, more than 2,000 wild animals from 150 species are available for visitors to view, with daily animal shows.
